Merry Christmas!
December is quickly passing and the first graders are working to prepare their hearts and minds for the coming of Jesus' birth.
In our classroom we have been hearing a small part of the Christmas story each morning by reading a tiny book and hanging it on our tree. The students have also learned a fingerplay about the three wisemen as well as some jingling bells.
Another way we are preparing is by making a daily advent promise. Some of the promises we have made are:
helping with the dishes
sending a card to someone
giving a hug
praying
Hopefully you have been able to see your children show some of these things at home.
