October is Here!!!Fall has finally arrived and the children are very excited about all of our October activities.
We have several items on the agenda this month, including our first field trip to Gede's Farm. I am sure the children have been expressing their excitement at home, just like they have to me at school.
October is also the month of the rosary and we will continue to study Mary, our Mother, and the rosary. We will be working with Mrs. Sue Cotton to make rosaries in class. These rosaries will be donated to area shelters and organizations in need, to help us practice evangelization and spread our Catholic message. We will look at the prayer, The Hail Mary, and examine the true meanings of the phrases within the prayer.
And, as the children remind me daily, October also brings us Halloween. More information about our school activities and directions for this fun day will be sent home.
I hope that you are all enjoying this wonderful weather and also that you enjoy what is left of it before the winter chill sets in.
