NEW FURNACE/AIR CONDITIONER ~ We just wanted to up date you on the furnace/air conditioner fund raiser. The first unit cost us $5,250.00 and the second unit will cost us $7,350.00, with a total cost of $12,600.00. We have received through your generous donations $6,245.00. The first unit has been installed and has been paid in full. The second unit will be in stalled on Tuesday, March 3rd and we will have 30 days to pay it off. We are still in need of $6,355.00. We want to thank you for your donations every little bit does help. This is a tax deductable donation and will be in your 2009 tax letters.
A MESSAGE FROM THE FINANCE COMMITTEE - We all know that times are real rough for everyone right now including St. Joseph the Worker. The Finance Committee met last Tuesday and wanted to share with you some information. Our 2008/2009 Contribution Envelope Income goal for this fiscal year is $157,000.00. At this time (34 weeks) we are under our goal by $13,581.00. During this meeting the Finance Committee has decided to put a Freeze on all un-necessary spending (office, maintenance, Music & Faith Formation Supplies) We will use what we already have to help keep the expenses to a minimum. To help us in our quest to keep the expenses down, if you have a special talent (construction, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and you have time in your already busy schedule to volunteer your services it would be greatly appreciated. Please call Karen in the office. This will help us to alleviate the cost of hiring out. We do want to thank ALL of our volunteers and all our parishioners who give so generously to our parish. We are very grateful. We do still need your financial help to pay the daily expenses here at St. Joseph the Worker. All support is appreciated any amount great or small will make a difference.
