The Leaven Ministry in our parish consists in visiting the sick and homebound and being available for those who are grieving.
"LEAVEN" stands for:
L = LOVE
E = EMPATHY
A = AFFIRMATION
V = VISITS
E = EUCHARIST
N = NEIGHBOR
Members minister one-on-one to the sick and elderly providing opportunities for these people to receive the Eucharist at home. Training is necessary and is provided. Please contact ALICE CREWS at 796-7664 for information, to obtain this service for yourself or a loved one in the parish, or to join this special ministry.
