EUCHARISTIC ADORATION ~ Adoration will continue through Lent except on March 20th and Good Friday. The times are 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM. Plan to spend some quiet time this Lent with the Lord.
LITURGY ~ There will be a Mass and Stations every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM during Lent. Please try and attend during this special time of year.
BULLETIN AD’S ~ We are in need of Bulletin Ad’s for 2009. These ad’s run on the back of our bulletin’s every week for a year. The proceeds help us buy paper for the bulletin’s. Please call Karen at 796-6877.
OLD PALMS ~ There is a basket in the gathering space for old Palms. You may bring them at any time and place them in the basket for burning.
EASTER FLOWERS ~ The envelopes to donate for the Easter Flowers are on the round table in the gathering space. You may place your donation in the envelope and put it in the collection basket. Please help us to have a nice display of flowers on Easter.
ST. JOSEPH SOCIETY ~ The schedules for cookie baking please mark your calendars! It would be fantastic to see a large number of people come to help!

BEST CHOICE BAR CODES We are still collecting the labels for Best Choice items purchased at Richard’s or Price Choppers. You may place them in the box on the table in the gathering space.

UNITED WOMEN’S GROUP NEWS ~ The United’s Women’s Group had its monthly meeting on March 11th. The treasurer’s report showed a balance of $2,763.57. The 1/2 and 1/2 drawing of $16.95was won by Johnnie Vollrath. The Group’s By-laws will be reviewed by Helen, Kim and Paulina and a revised edition will be presented at the April meeting. Nominations for officers will be presented next meeting and the election will be in May. We will be collecting donations for flowers for Mary’s Garden on the week-ends of May 2/3 and 9/10. The Chili Dinner was a success., thanks to all who worked and those who supported us by attending. We voted to donate $500 for the Furnace Fund. Our next event will be the Easter Egg Hunt for the children on April 4th at 1:00 PM. If you would like to volunteer to help, call Johnnie Vollrath. The Agenda meetings for the United Women’s Group will be the last Saturday of each month at 3:45 PM. All are welcome to come and participate in preparing the Agenda. There is talk about combining the Groups of United Women and the St. Joseph Society. We will continue this discussion at the next meeting which is on APRIL 15 at 7:30 PM, please plan to attend. If anyone needs a ride to the meeting, call any of the officers, their phone numbers are in the bulletin.
THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT - The Cleansing of the Temple Today we read of Jesus cleansing the Temple. This story has a sense of urgency. It is not about anger; it’s about transformation. Jesus is saying: “No more business as usual. There is not much time left. Be converted, be cleansed because the reign of God is at hand.
