Next week we will start our reading unit 1. Our unit 1 will be on “Great Adventures.” Life is made up of big and small experiences. We will read “Grandfather’s Journey.” A man grows to love the two different lands that he calls home as his life journey takes him back and forth between them.
The students will get the words on Monday and take the test on Friday. We will be doing different activities throughout the week where the students will be working on the words. They will have 15 words and five bonus words. The bonus words are extra credit words.
Those are the vocabulary words for the week that are in the story that we are reading.

Please make sure to check your child’s binder and homework sheet every night. They will need to return these two items along with any other homework item for the night every day to school.
