If you have a child who needs to be baptized, congratulations! We joyfully welcome your child into our faith community. The sacrament of baptism is an initiation into the Catholic faith, and into our faith community. It is the beginning of a lifelong spiritual journey for your child. It is essential that you, as parents, are committed to helping your child grow in the Catholic faith. Please note the following specific requirements for baptism: 1) You should be a registered parishioners at St. Monica - St. George. If you are registered in another parish, you must have written permission from your pastor to have the baptism performed here. 2) You will need to attend one of our baptismal preparation classes, which are held quarterly. 3) You will need to make an appointment with Fr. Al for a short meeting to go over some specific information for the baptism. 4) And of course you will need to select a date and mass time for the baptism. You can either call Fr. Al at 513-381-6400, or check right here on our website. Click the "Calendar" button at the upper right, then click the "Weekend Baptism Schedule" button for the appropriate Sunday. It will indicate which masses are available for baptisms for that Sunday, and who the presider is (if known). Please note that this information is updated frequently!
