Welcome to Our Website
SS. Peter and Paul is a vibrant parish with many opportunities to put our faith in action and to enjoy ourselves as well. Among these are:

+ Youth activities: Toni McKay, our Coordinator of Youth Ministry schedules many activities for our teen-agers.

+ Liturgical Ministries: Training is available for our members to serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Altar servers and Ministers of Hospitality.

+ Music Ministry: Our Director of Music, Mary Cusack, always welcomes more voices and instruments in the choir.

+ Hispanic Ministry: Sr. Kit Kaiser, SSJ directs the ministry to the Hispanic community of our area. Mass in Spanish is held every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and other special events are planned regularly.

+ Parish Picnic: This always proves to be a day of fun for the parish and many volunteers are needed to help plan it and make it happen.

As Catholics we are a sacramental people and we believe that God is revealed through all creation. We celebrate seven special moments of God’s revelation to us through our sacraments.

Eucharist is celebrated on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. during the winter, and 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. during the summer. Mass in Spanish is celebrated year around on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. Daily mass is also celebrated - please consult the bulletin.

Baptisms are generally scheduled monthly. Preparation ordinarily begins before birth with attendance at a preparation session. Please call the parish office for more information.

Reconciliation is celebrated on Saturdays between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Confirmation for freshmen and sophomores requires attendance at preparation sessions which take place on Sunday morning. Vanessa Booth (#527-3575) is the coordinator for this.

Marriage is a sacrament which a man and a woman give to each other and which reflects God’s love for the Church. Preparation for a lifetime together takes a minimum of six months, so arrangements must be made well in advance.

Anointing of the Sick can be arranged for the homebound, hospitalized, and those facing surgery by contacting the parish office.

Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process by which non-Catholics learn more about the Catholic faith with an eye towards possibly joining the Church. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings. Separate sessions are held for children.

All sacraments call us to live out our faith more profoundly and to witness to the good news of God’s love!
