Begining on Monday, September 14, 2009, our schedule of weekday Masses will change. Mass will be celebrated at 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mass will not be celebrated at 8am on Tuesdays unless a Holyday of Obligation falls on a Tuesday.

Pastoral Council Minutes for
October 12, 2005

Members Present: Fr. Donlan, Ed Bowers, Ed Gear, Tom Pitts, Mary Ann Scaglione, Sara Simpson, Ell Thomas, Carmen Treulich and Brent Bell

Members Excused: Frances Nico, Paul Jacoby

The meeting opened with a prayer led by Mary Ann Scaglione

Resignation: David Dane. Motion was passed to let his term lapse, because so few meetings remain for the remainder of his term.

Youth Report: given by Brent Bell, covering for Paul Jacoby, and Fr. Donlan.
The Youth will put on a live Nativity Pageant with music, as a part of Faith Formation.
Brent Bell will attend Youth Conferences in New York City and also in Atlanta.
Youth will have tghe coffee and doughnuts Oct. 16.

Regarding Parish Welcoming Plan:
Greeters/Ambassadors to get started--perhaps youth could join too.
Eileen Smith to be asked to head up Greeter Group.
Ell has obtained information for a one page flyer, containing St. Anthony history, and pertinent facts of today. Remax & Century 21 will be happy to advertise. Mrs. Brewer will be happy to help with computer work.
Carmen will try to get a packet from a model center to see how/if St. Anthony is listed.

Social Club Report: Fish Fry was a big success--over 200 attended, 150 tickets have been sold for the upcoming barbeque.

Stewardship: In November a young layperson will speak at all the weekend Masses re stewardship. Sealed commitments will be placed at the altar for a year. The members of the faith community will be asked to pray over each commitment.
Fr. Donlan mentioned a new idea for the bulletin. He will encourage signed letters to him, containing compliments or complaints. Some letters will be published, with Father's answers.
