Begining on Monday, September 14, 2009, our schedule of weekday Masses will change. Mass will be celebrated at 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mass will not be celebrated at 8am on Tuesdays unless a Holyday of Obligation falls on a Tuesday.

PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES
May 28, 2008

Members Present:
Fr. Donlan, Father Morley, Bill Baker, Iris Delgado, Mary Elmer, Greg McClung, Sherrie Moore, Frances Nico, Thomas Pitts, Patty Sharp, Ashley Spradlin, Ell Thomas, Teresa Timmons, Len Wydotis.
Members Absent:
Roy Cespedes, Megan Jagger

Father introduced our new pastor, Father Craig Morley.

Sherrie opened the meeting with prayer at 7:00p.m.

Minutes of the April 2, 2008 meeting were approved.

Father introduced and welcomed the new council members: Bill Baker, Patty Sharp, Ashley Spradlin, Teresa Timmons.

Youth Report:

Fifteen youth attended the end of the year "Fear Factor" party at the Holy Hut. The event went very well and everyone had a great time.

Greg will begin his new responsibilities as Youth Program Director, under the supervision of Rachel Selby, on June 1. Over the summer, he is planning bi-weekly "Wednesday Night Hangout" meetings in the Holy Hut.

Ashley is our new Youth Representative.

Other Business:

Discussed feedback on the areas we as a parish could improve, from the selection interviews.
Father thanked Greg, Fran, Tom and Ell for their service to the council.
Dates for Pastoral Council meetings for 2008/2009 are as follows: 08/20/08, 10/01/08, 12/03/08, 02/04/09, 04/01/09 and 06/03/09.
Date for Commissioning of new Council members will be August 24 at the 10:00a.m. Mass.
Father Morley graciously shared a brief summary of his background history.
We will have a "Welcome to the Parish" reception for Father Morley on Sunday, July 13.

     Our next Pastoral Council meeting is August 20, 2008
     Teresa will offer our opening prayer.

     Election of new council officers for 2008-2009

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m. with the Lord's Prayer.
