Schedule Time for the Schedule – Please pick up
Our parish family is blessed by those who serve the parish in liturgical ministries, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, as doughnut hosts, etc. We gently remind everyone involved to pick up
your monthly schedule in the hallway pamphlet rack, read the bulletin and duly note your assigned Sundays. If you cannot minister on a particular weekend, your finding someone to replace you insures that chaos does not reign in your absence. Thank you for sharing your time and talent!

Blessing of Trick o’ Treaters
What better way to hit the streets for “trick or treating” than to gather at the church to
get a blessing for protection as well as to remember that with Jesus in our hearts we
don’t have to fear ghost, goblins or things that go bump in the night? Join us in the
front of church on All Hallows Eve (October 31) at 6:00 p.m. for a quick blessing,
taking of a picture and sending forth on our way with a goodie or two!

Sacramental Preparation – Parents Meeting
We will begin our required Sacramental Preparation meetings for any and all parents whose children will be preparing for their sacraments of Penance and/or First Communion this year. If your child is seven years or older and has not yet received their First Communion, this meeting is for you! This and all subsequent parents meetings are a required part of our children’s program as we form families to live the faith and deepen in the grace of the sacraments together. If you cannot attend a meeting, a call to the Parish Office is a must. We thank and bless all our parents in their call to live and share the faith at home.
“Angels We Have Heard On High”
We would love to have a beautiful Christmas choir this year to make our liturgies solemn, festive and touching. If you would like to offer your gifts and join us for this limited commitment of time, please call the Parish Office as soon as possible and/or be prepared to say “yes” when we invite you to help us!! Our life of worship is the very lifeblood of our parish – we need your help to bring musical prayer to life.
All Ministries, Programs, Boards and Committees – Unite!
We ask that all those who head up our wonderful ministries, boards, committees and programs in the parish join together for a joint meeting on Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m. with our Pastoral Council. Fr. Scott will do a presentation on stewardship of God’s gifts and the Council will hear any concerns and/or ideas you may have. Thanks for making the time to join us!!
Inquiry Continues
Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Room in the Parish Hall finds a group gathering to ask questions, to seek and to inquire more about the Catholic-Christian path. You are invited and welcomed too!
