ST. ANTHONY PRO-LIFE COMMITTEE

Mission

We believe that all human life, from conception to natural death, is a gift from God and so all human life deserves love and respect. We oppose all anti-life practices, including abortion, euthanasia, and physician assisted suicide. We promote respect for human life in all stages, education on life issues, and action to return our society to be life affirming.

One of the best ways to show our support for pro-life legislation is to join in the March for Life in Washington D.C. in January. St. Anthony has sponsored a bus every year since 1974 to join with thousands of like-minded people to witness our opposition to abortion legislated in the Supreme Court decision, Roe vs. Wade, in 1973. The Pro-Life Committee also brings in speakers from time to time to educate and inform parishioners of Pro-Life concerns; supplies informational pamphlets and CD's; and organizes letter writing campaigns to Senators and Congressmen so that people may express their views and have their voices heard in Washington.
