OUR LADY OF THE MOUNTAINS Catholic Church in Stanton, KY is seeking a full time Parish Life Director beginning July 1, 2006. Our Lady of the Mountains is a beautiful log church nestled in a rural setting amidst the Appalachian Mountains, surrounded by the splendor of four seasons of the year. This warm and welcoming community consists of thirty-eight families with a diversity of cultures. Ministry includes all aspects of Parish Life, religious education, RCIA, liturgy, finance, office work, overseeing the property, outreach to the community at large, and great opportunities for evangelization. Candidates must have a strong desire to collaborate with the Parish Priest who lives in a different county and serves two communities and with the Mission Diocese of Lexington, KY. Applicants must have the following qualifications: Active, faithful, membership in the Roman Catholic Church, a master’s degree in theology or its equivalent, general good health, liturgically-based spirituality centered on the prayer life of the Church, collaboration skills, willingness to become familiar with the area, people and culture, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
