St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, provides a free monthly nutritional outreach service for any of their patients or people referred by their doctors or professional healthcare providers. Participation is by appointment only and meetings are held at 103 Ewen St. in Stanton. Call 606-723-5873 to make an appointment.
A licensed Registered Dietitian from St. Joseph Hospital will meet privately with the patients. There is no charge for the consultation. Appointments usually last an hour.
Registered Dietitians can help people with such problems as: Anemia, Diabetes, Diverticulitus, Gall Stones, Heart Disease, Hiatal Hernia, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, High Triglycerides, Osteoporosis and Weight Problems.
