FOR CORRECT INFORMATION FROM THE VATICAN

As a result of the “Sharing God’s Gifts” campaign, the parish has received many commitments from faithful parishioners increasing their weekly contributions. Thank you! We still need your participation. One way to contribute is to use the electronic giving option of PARISHPAY. Once you sign up, ParishPay will collect monthly contributions from your checking, savings or credit card account and then send it to the parish. There is no cost to you to participate in the program. To sign up or get more information, you can log on to www.parishpay.com or call the parish for more details. Let us pray for the successful stewardship of our parish.

FLOCKNOTE
The Archdiocese is launching a new program – Flocknote - - to “enhance the ability of Pastors, Parishes and the Archdiocese to better connect with our people so that we can share with them accurately, timely and important information” (Cardinal Dolan). To implement this program for our parish we need the name and e-mail address of all our parishioners. This information will not be shared and shall be password protected. This program is scheduled to launch within the next few weeks. Please send your name and e-mail address to: St.AugustineWebmaster@hotmail.com. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

UPDATE
FLOCKNOTE will provide us with a widget for our website
that will enable all parishioners
to enroll in St. Augustine's FLOCKNOTE
directly from our website.

If you already sent your information to St.AugustineWebmaster,
then you do not need to resend it via the widget.  You will
be registered by the Webmaster.

If you did not submit your information, please wait until the widget is installed
on our website.
FLOCKNOTE said the widget should
be available within a few weeks.

Bring a friend to Church

Let us remember relatives and friends who may have strayed from attending Mass and the Sacraments.  Consider asking someone you know to come with you to Mass.  Your encouragement may be all that they need.

Come let us adore Him!

Eucharistic Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed every Thursday
here at St. Augustine's from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
We pray for vocations.

Please join in a Holy Hour from 9:00 to 10:00 AM
each Thursday for Morning Prayer from the
Liturgy of the Hour, Rosary and
the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Compline and Solemn Eucharistic Benediction are at 7:00 PM.

On the First Friday of the month,
(From October until June)
the Blessed Sacrament is exposed
between the end of the 6:30 AM Mass
and the beginning of the 8:30 AM Mass.

Take some time out of your busy schedule
to spend an hour with the Lord.
Many blessings and graces are waiting for you!

OUR THURSDAY
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
We will be looking at the organization of our parish Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the weeks ahead. Our main concern is complete coverage of the times that our Blessed Lord is exposed. According to our Bishops:"Every effort should be made to ensure that there should be at least two people present. There must absolutely never be periods when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and there is no one present ..."  (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops publication, Thirty-One Questions on Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament- page 11)

We have been given permission from the Vatican
to insert the Vatican Widget on our website.
