St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church at 3870 Atlanta highway, Montgomery, AL 36109 US - Daily Activities

Daily Activities

Instructional Time

This is a time that is set aside each day for the children to participate in activity that will introduce them to the world of knowledge. From our babies on up to our four-year olds, we provide opportunities for the children to gain that knowledge they are so eagerly wanting. This time may include reading a story, learning about a letter of the alphabet, counting to a number, painting a color, playing a musical instrument, building a castle, or digging in the sand. No matter, each day the children are engaged in activity that will provide that firm foundation that they will need to become successful lifelong learners.

Play Time

Each day the children will have the opportunity to gain social knowledge through playtime with their peers. Whether, we visit the playground outside or the centers in the classroom, the children have a blast in the world of make believe and fun time. From puzzles to baby dolls the children have the chance to learn how to interact with their peers and all the while gain that wonderful sense of social knowledge about the world around them.

Snack Time

Twice daily we provide nutritional snacks for the children. Morning snack is served each day between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00am. This snack includes a healthy breakfast-type food such as a cereal bar, waffle, or biscuit along with whole vitamin D milk. Another snack is served between the hours of 2:00pm and 3:00pm that consists of a healthy snack like cheese crackers, cocktail fruit, or vanilla wafers.

Lunch Time

A nutritious lunch is provided each day to all full-day students. It is prepared on site and usually consists of a meat, veggie, fruit, starch, and milk. The cost of lunch is included in the cost of tuition.

Rest Time
Each day the children will engage in a time to rest their minds and bodies. This time is designated to rejuvenate them and give them the good balance their body requires.
