Recently completed in September 2005 it is housed at St Benedict's Church, Clydach in the Swansea Valley, Wales.

It was built to house a First Class Relic of St Vincent de Paul (as in picture) and it is hoped it will be a focal point for pilgrimages for Vincentians and others who work with the Society of St Vincent de Paul worldwide.

On November 1st 2005, the Friends of the Shrine of St Vincent de Paul was setup. 

There is a Book of Dedication in the Shrine of St Vincent de Paul containing the names of all those who support the work of the Shrine. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all Friends of the Shrine on the first Monday of each month and on the Fesat of St Vincent de Paul, whilst the Parish Rosary Group pray weekly for all those included in the Dedication Book.
