It is the responsibility of the Parish Priest and all Parishioners

working in any capacity with Children and young or vulnerable people

within the Catholic Parish Community of St Benedict's to safeguard their

welfare. 

It is the responsibility of the Parish Child Protection Representative

along with the Parish Priest to safeguard the welfare of Adults and young Adults

who undertake to work with children and young and vulnerable people of the Parish.

It is the duty of all voluntary workers to prevent the physical, sexual or emotional abuse

of all Children or Vulnerable adults with whom they come in contact.

All volunteers working with Children and Vulnerable adults will be required to complete

a vetting form as required by the Parish Child Protection Representative.
