      Our school theme for this year is "Christ Our Light, Shine in Our Hearts."  Each month, we focus upon a different phrase from the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.  We are trying to let our light shine as Jesus and St. Francis did.
     We have a class of 12 students with six boys and six girls.  Many of us are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist this year.  All of us attend Mass on Thursday mornings with the rest of the students in our school.  We enjoy reading at Mass when it is our turn to be the prayer leaders.
     This year, we are also excited about learning to write in cursive.  We are busy practicing all of the lowercase and uppercase letters.
     Besides our basic subjects of Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, we also enjoy Music, Physical Education, Computer and Library time.
