Please remember:
- This week the students need to remember to bring their recorders on music days (Tuesday and Friday) and practice Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star at home.
- Book reports are due on Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
- We will be exchanging Valentines on February 14, 2012.
- Auction items or money needs to be in no later than February 22, 2012.

Game Night Theme Basket (Bag)
Great Idea!!
Dear Families,
We have received some wonderful items for the basket already and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed thus far. A parent has ordered a “Thirty-One bag” to use for our basket for the auction items. The “Thirty-One Company” makes wonderful bags and it will hold many items.
Some of the parents have discussed the idea of contributing money to buy a Wii and possibly a few Wii games to place in our bag. The money can easily be collected if several families contribute ten or twenty dollars to this great idea.
If you would like to donate money for the Wii or Wii games to put in the bag please send the contribution with your child and have it clearly marked. I will pass the money along to Mrs. Jane Rush who has kindly offered to coordinator the Wii purchase. Again it is just an idea. Games, snacks or other items are greatly appreciated.
All donations need to be turned in by Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Please send any money contributions before February 17, 2012 so Mrs. Rush can purchase the Wii before the deadline.
Valentine’s Day
We will be trading Valentine cards on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in the classroom. I am attaching a class list so your child can begin making out their Valentines. We will make Valentine’s Day bags in class this week. Have your child bring their Valentines on February 14, 2012 to exchange.
Book Reports Reminder

February 14, 2012 will also be the day we share our book reports on a Magic Tree House book with the class. If you have any questions or need paper to complete the book report please let me know.
