Welcome to the Parish Office!
The St. Bernard Parish Office Staff is grateful for the opportunity and privilege of serving God's people here, within the St. Benard Parish family and in the extended community as well. It is our sincere hope that you will always feel welcomed and free to call upon us or to visit with us to discuss any needs or concerns you may have, or just to stop by and say hi! The office is currently open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday through Friday, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. You can reach us at 908-725-0552. Mrs. Barbara Sanderman has joined the St. Bernard parish Staff as our new Director of Sacred Music. She will begin her new position starting August 1st. In the meantime, if you have any questions about liturgy, are planning your wedding liturgy, or if you might be interested in St. Bernard Music Ministry as a member of the choir or as a cantor, or if you have any musical ability or talent you would like to share, please contact Rose at 908-725-0552 ext. 802. Rose Vivinetti, Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, can be reached at 908-725-0552 ext. 802. Please feel free to call upon Rose with any parish needs, concerns or questions you may have, if you have something you would like brought to Father Joe Celano's attention, or if you need to schedule an appointment with the Pastor. Rose is also the "webmaster" and the Bulletin Editor, so you can contact her about anything concerning the parish website or the weekly bulletin. Please remember that articles for the bulletin must be received by the Monday morning before the weekend of desired publication. She is also available to receive e mail at amanti@optonline.net
Joan San Giovanni, our Receptionist and Parish Registrar will be happy to greet you and to address or direct any needs you may have. Joan is in charge of our "pre-registration process" and is also the person who will help you to schedule and prepare for your child's Baptism. Cemetery Secretary - If you need to discuss Cemetery business or have questions about St. Bernard Cemetery, including inquiries concerning the purchase or the location of grave-sites or mausoleum spaces, please contact Carol Trenchard, our Cemetery Secretary at 908-725-5566. She will also handle any billing or deed inquiries you may have. Carol is generally in the Cemetery Office, located on Route 28, adjacent to the cemetery, between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM each weekday. Peg Amorosa is part of the office secretarial staff and is also the person who will assist you if you are planning to be married at St. Bernard, or if you would like to schedule something on the Parish Calendar. You may reach her Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 908-725-0552 ext. 818 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Brian Curtis is in charge of accounting and bookeeping here at St. Bernard and is in the parish office at different times during the weekdays and some evenings as well. If you have any parish financial questions, you may reach Brian at 908-725-0552 ext. 805.
