We look at the devastation around us. Natural disasters, starvation, and war are becoming more common. We ask what can we do to help? How can we change? How do we bring peace to a world filled with hatred. I ask you to reach out. Weather its a neighbor going through a tough time. Or a stranger asking for a few dollars to feed his family. I ask you to take a few moments and wonder if one day that you too may need help, or a brother, sister, son, or daughter. We are all one family. No matter what religion, race, creed, sex, or sexual orientation. We must reach out and help those in need. Please help change the world. You never know when your entertaining angels. In a time of great uncertainty we face many questions. You must ask yourself, Are you doing enough?
Salt Lake Citys first Old Orthodox Catholic Mission, Saint Camillus Mission celebrates one year of serving those in need.  We want to thank you for your donations and support.

Welcome to St. Camillus Mission of
Salt Lake City

Welcome to the St. Camillus Mission Web Site. Our Web Site is our personal invitation to you so that you would consider sharing your personal faith journey with us in order to build God’s Kingdom and grow closer to Jesus. In order for you to know who we are and what we are all about we invite you to enter into a relationship with us as a spiritual family, joyfully celebrating our Christianity through the Old Orthodox Catholic Faith. At our invitation, “surf” our Web Site, come to know who we are primarily by praying with us for those that we serve at many of the Hospitals, Hospices, and shelters of the greater Salt Lake Valley and let us together share our Faith with each other in ministry of service and family of faith.

This is our home on the Internet. Here you will find the latest news and information about St. Camillus Mission. I invite you to explore our website, learn about our history, about our Patron and the Old Orthodox Catholic Church. Welcome and God Bless you.

The St. Camillus Mission is named after our Patron St. Camillus de Lellis, an Italian priest who is patron of the sick, dying, hospitals and nurses. He lived a life of dedication and tireless concern for the sick.  Like Saint Camillus we devout our time to the sick through Hospital and Hospice Chaplaincy and working with the Homeless by going to them.  Offering food, clothing, and Spiritual aid to those who need it most. Sickness is often the most severe and grievous of all trials, whence the devil made it his last assault in tempting Job.  It is a time in which a Christian stands in need of the greatest constancy and fortitude; yet, through the weakness of nature, is generally the least able to keep his heart united with God, and usually never stands more in need of spiritual comfort and assistance.

We are often asked if we accept tithing. My answer is please tithe to your respective church. As we appreciate the act of donations please be sure that you tithe to your church first. If you are able to give we wish that you provide donations to your local homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and any other respected body. We also ask that if you are unable to give monetary donations your time is greatly appreciated at the above shelters and kitchens. If you wish to donate to St. Camillus Mission your donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
