Mary Fournier, a member of our parish, is travelling to Uganda this summer to work with orphans in the Rakai district.  Because of the generosity of many of the parishioners of St. Margarets and St. Charles, she was able to raise the money to purchase computers and a water tank for the people she is ministering to!   She has promised to update us at home through this website, so please check back in mid-to-late June for information from Mary.  Also, please keep her, and those she is serving, in your prayers.  "Good Luck, and God Bless, Mary!"

"I just tried to send some pictures with the e-mail I just wrote but it would not work. I will try again in a week or so. I arrived in Kyotera Uganda yesterday afternoon. I feel very welcome here. It is a great place. I just met the students and staff of st. Agnes today and I get to start sports activities with them today and I will be teaching English and Health in the days to come. I thank you so much for your prayers and support. The students and staff here thank you so much for the generous donations of the St. Charles parish. They are eager to recieve you in the future as some of you have expressed to me that you are interested in coming to help next year. They are very eager to recieve you. There are great things going on here but there is still much that they need. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. I am sorry this is brief but I did not have much time.

"Hello-
I do not have much time, but I wanted to send greetings from Ugand. The staff and students and community of Kyotera send their greetings. There are many ways that this community can use help. Textbooks, school supplies, a new school building block, tuition for some gifted, yet needy students, a secure kitchen that cannot be tampered with by vandals and the list goes on and on. I want to take some time to explain all of these  these along with my amazing experience so far. Everyone here sends their greetings and immense gratitude to Greenville Michigan.
