We are located in Lowell, Indiana, at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church. It is really nice here. Check us out!

1957: Ten acres of land are purchased on the west side of Lowell with Bishop Andrew Grutka head of the new Diocese of Gary.
1958: A new limestone church (our fouth) seating 405, is dedicated. A new school, convent and rectory are also built.
1983: School adds library, classroom and Boney Hall.
1994: Convent is converted into Parish Ministry Center.
1999: Plans are made for the addition of 7th and 8th grade.
2001: Our first 7th grade class graduates.
2001: Master Planning for renovations begin.
2007: Fr. Peter moves into a new home.

Five wars, fifteen pastors, three different orders of sisters, and many blessed moments later we continue to come together as a family of faith.

Hail Mary
"Beginning with Mary's unique cooperation with the working of the Holy Spirit, the Churches developed their prayer to the holy Mother of God, centering it on the Person of Christ manifested in His mysteries. In countless hymns and antiphons expressing this prayer, two movements usually alternate with one another: the first "magnifies" the Lord for the "great things" He did for His lowly servant and through her for all human beings. The second entrusts the supplications and praises of the children of God to the Mother of Jesus, because she now knows the humanity which, in her, the Son of God espoused." - from the Catechism of the Catholic Church; 2675.

The Apostles Creed
"The Apostles' Creed is so called because it is rightly considered to be a faithful summary of the apostles' faith. It is the ancient baptismal symbol of the Church of Rome. Its great authority arises from this fact: it is 'the Creed of the Roman Church, the See of Peter, the first of the apostles, to which he brought the common faith." - from the Catechism of the Catholic Church; 194.
