Emergency school closing information will be announced on radio stations: WAKR - 1590 AM, WONE, WQMX, WKDD, WTOU, WNIR, and on TV Stations Fox 8, Channel 3, Channel 19, and Channel 43. When Coventry Schools are closed, St. Francis de Sales is closed automatically. In the event that Coventry does not close, but Green and Manchester do, St. Francis de Sales will be announced separately. An announcement cancelling Akron Catholic Schools DOES NOT APPLY to us because we are not in the Akron City School District. Please, DO NOT CALL THE RECTORY! Also, we are required by law to establish a contingency plan for making up days that are in excess of the five calamity days that can be waived by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Calamity make-up days will be April 11, June 6, 9, 10, and 11.
