COFFEE AND DOUGHNUTS WELCOME COMMITTEE THE FOOD PANTRY AT ST. FRANCIS NURSERY PARISH GROUNDS LANDSCAPING OFFICE MINISTRIES
Anyone wishing to continue the Ministry of Hospitality by serving coffee and doughnuts after each Sunday Mass is welcome! Each volunteer must be willing to come half an hour early and leave half an hour later than Mass.
This committee gives each parishioner a personal welcome and familiarizes them with St. Francis’ various ministries to help them get involved and feel like a part of our parish family. Members of this committee contact new members to the parish through a phone call and personal contact.
People donate their time and talent to help bridge the needs of our community through various activities such as providing food and assistance to those in need. In answer to a taunt for Christians to practice what they preach, the Food Pantry at St. Francis brings social justice and friendship of true charity to those in need.
The nursery is intended to provide a pleasant hour for both parents and children. Parents can worship at Mass knowing their children are with caring volunteers who are scheduled on a rotating basis. Nursery is available Sunday 10:00 AM.
Landscaping is performed semi-annually throughout our parish grounds to make our parish property inviting and tranquil reflecting God’s beauty. Volunteers are invited to participate in the landscaping activities.
This ministry assists the staff by working on parish mailings, art projects, posters, computer entry, and telephone calls. Volunteers are needed during parish office hours.
