PARISH MISSION
A Parish mission is held once a year. A notable speaker, usually a priest, provides our mission normally during the Liturgical season of Lent. Our Parish mission enables us to examine our understanding of what the Christian life is all about and to ask ourselves how are we doing in living that life.
PRAYER CHAIN
This group of parishioners receives prayer requests for especial intentions and prays in their own homes for the intentions requested for as long as the prayers are needed. There are no meetings to attend, which makes this a wonderful opportuntiy for those who otherwise would be unable to participate in a ministry. A person in the Prayer Chain Ministry is contacted either by phone or email by one of the coordinators.
PARISH RETREAT
The parish retreat is a retreat for parishioners given by parishioners. The retreat takes place twice a year in the winter and in the spring. These are two days of relaxation, prayer, spiritual guidance, fun and great food!! A time alone with God and a time together with your faith community. Where together we reflect upon our spiritual life and come to new insights about our place in the life of God.
