By now..most of you know that I have petitioned the Bishop for retirement, and he has granted this request. As of December 1, I will acquire the status of "Senior Priest". On my next birthday I will be seventy-one. Nearly forty-two of those years a priest and twenty-two here at St. Francis. I can only describe these years as years of blessings.
What a blessing! To be Pastor of so many good people.
