Dear CMG Moms,

It is with such joy that I look back at our 21st year of our Christan Mothers' Group-we have surrounded each other with loving arms as we have celebrated birth of children and death or loved ones and everything in between. I stay in constant awe of how God uses each of us to bring hope and encouragement to those He puts in our paths. Let us continue to demostrate that "love" is an action verb and we reflect His presence in our lives as we reach out to others. We hear this scripture at Mass on Sunday: "Jesus said to His disciples, 'As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love'." John 15:9. What a powerful invitation to take to heart.

For the past 21 years, I continue to give the credit for the success of thie group not only to Lord who directs our plans, but to the talented and dedicated moms who continue to work in the trenches. At the End of the Year Brunch, I read 33 DIFFERENT names of moms who were either officers, chairpersons, or co-chairs for different activites. I would say that our ministry is richly blessed with committed moms who love connecting with others with similar values. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart.

I am so humbled to anticipate that our oldest son, Michael, will be ordained a priest next week on Tuesday, May 26th in Toronto, Ontario. Hope you will mark, Saturday, June 20th at 10:30 am on your calendar for his first Mass at his home parish, St. Gabriel. Continue to share your faith with your children: "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it" Proverbsl 22:6. Let us always pray for our children to stand firm on God's truths and to live godly lives with boldness and courage.
