The Neighborhood Committee is in charge of the Welcome and Special Intention Book. The book is located on the podium in Narthex. The book has three primary purposes: (1) It provides a place where visitors to our parish have a place to tell us where they are from and write any comments they may have concerning our parish or worship services; (2) it provides a place where people who have an interest in becoming a member of our parish family may write their name to be contacted by the parish staff; and (3) it serves as the designated place where parishioners and visitors may present their special intentions or prayer requests. Before each Mass, the Worship Leader makes an announcement inviting visitors to sign the Welcome Book. Weekly there is a Mass where the Special Intentions of the parish are offered by the priest or deacon. A Welcome Card will be sent to the visitors who sign the book and include a complete address.
