Funerals
When a death occurs, this ministry serves in a variety of ways especially in funeral planning. The pastoral staff will assist in choosing the readings and music. Family members may wish to participate in the planning and in the funeral liturgy. Many times, the parish can provide and host a luncheon. We will work with the funeral director and funeral home in order to ensure a prayerful and meaningful funeral liturgy. We will attend the funeral in support of family and friends.
In addition, there is an annual All Souls Day liturgy. Invitations are sent out during the month of October. There is also an annual holiday mailing of materials to help through the holiday season.
