Year of Faith
My dear friends in Christ,
With the Apostolic Letter Porta fidei, Pope Benedict XVI declared a "Year of Faith" on October 11, 2011. The year begins October 11, 2012, the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and the 20th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and ends on November 24, 2013, the fest of Christ the King.
