Have you been thinking about becoming a Catholic? Do you know a teenager or adult interested in being baptized or confirmed in their faith? Now is the time to do something with this questions. Give Ann Geer a call at 459-4662 (x 208) and together discern where the Lord is leading. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) process is tailored to the many and diverse needs and situations of those inquiring about the Christian Faith. In addition, if you know of a child age 5 or older, who desires to be baptized, please contact Ann. The process spoken of above may be adapted for our young inquirers. Sponsors and catechists are needed to companion and share with the candidates who seek to be iniaiated into the Christian faith in the Roman Catholic tradition. A sponsor accompanies a candidate during the time of instruction and formation. Sponsors share their personal faith stories and experiences. Catechists lead candidates in reflection and sharing on the Word of God. Usually, catechists instruct on those specific topics of the Catholic faith that they feel most confident to present.
