“Who visited Hogar San Francisco de Asis (St.                                   Francis Home) in Peru?”                                              Karen Danca Smith’s Journey
                    July 24 (Thurs.)  -  @ 7:15 PM

Hogar San Francisco de Asis (St. Francis of Assisi Home) in Peru receives sick children whose parents cannot afford to buy them required medicines or treatments to restore them to health. The children live there and receive all necessary medications, food, and other needs without charge. Once they are well, the children return to their families. The most frequent illnesses treated are chronic diarrhea, malnutrition, tuberculosis and chronic respiratory diseases.

Recently Karen Danca Smith spent time at the Home, along with some students from St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School. Karen will share with us stories of the children and staff she met. We’ll do this July 24 (Thurs.) at 7:15 PM with Karen & Sr. Diane in the Msgr. Cass Center. Questions? Call Sr. Diane @ 432-0045 x 12.

St. Ignatius Martyr Prayer Group

All are invited to come and make plans to renew the Saint Ignatius Prayer Group. We need music ministers, people interested in working on hospitality and people of prayer.  If you were part of another Charismatic Prayer group in another place or new to our parish, come join us. St. Ignatius  Loyola would end his letters to the Jesuit missionaries saying, “Go set the world on fire”  Let’s get  together and set Saint Ignatius Martyr on fire with Christ love, through his Holy Spirit. July 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the church rectory basement. Any questions call Cathie at 516-313 -3297
