St. Isidore Catholic Community at 18201 23 Mile Rd., Macomb, MI 48042 US - About the St. Isidore Catholic Community

About the St. Isidore Catholic Community

St. Isidore Catholic Community, located at the corner of 23 Mile and Romeo Plank roads, in Macomb Township, Michigan, has been a part of Macomb County history since 1957 when it was founded by Rev. Walter Schweihofer.

Our mission statement, adopted by the Parish Pastoral Council on March 15, 1998, has been at the heart of our faith journey and life:  "Inspired by the witness of Saints Isidore and Maria, husband and wife, we welcome all into our faith community.  Through planting, cultivating and harvesting the seeds of faith, we create an environment that strengthens individuals, Catholic Christian marriages, and family life.  Utilizing the gifts and talents God has given us, we serve together, strengthening our faith, hope and love in Christ."

The strong tradition of St. Isidore Catholic Community has been the living faith and sense of family of its members.  In welcoming you and recognizing you as part of our community, we invite you to join with us in helping to continue that tradition.  Sharing in these efforts not only gathers us together and builds us up as the Body of Christ, but also brings forth the Kingdom of God in our world today!
