St. James the Greater Church at 2502 11th Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703 US - Sacrament of First Eucharist

In accordance with the norms of the Diocese of
LaCrosse, in preparation for First Reconciliation
and First Eucharist is done in the second grade.
Students must be enrolled in St. James Catholic
School or the parish Religious Education program.
Special Sacraments sessions are available for
those students who are beyond these grades and
are still in need of the sacraments, and RCIA is
available for adults. The Sacrament of First Eucharist
is typically celebrated in April.

Requirements for First Eucharist include:

• Regular attendance of Parish School or Religious Education program
   
• Parent Meeting
   
• Participation in Eucharist Centers for parents and students
   
• Completion of Together in Jesus activity lessons
   
• Decorating cloth square for First Eucharist banner
   
• Rehearsal Practice and Dinner
