This is a committee of the Parish Finance Council that works with the pastor and Council in the regular maintenance and improvement of parish property and facilities. It is open to anyone interested in building repair and improvement.
The cemetery is owned and operated by five local Catholic parishes (St. James, Sacred Heart-St. Patrick, St. Olaf, Immaculate Conception, and St. Mary). It has a mausoleum and ground burial space available. The cemetery board consists of the Pastor and a lay representative of each parish. The phone is 831-2156.
Endowment funds come to the parish from special gifts and estates. The parish has two funds—the general endowment fund for the parish and the Catholic School tuition assistance fund. The principle is never spent, but the interest is used for the defined purposes. Five trustees are appointed by the Pastor to oversee the investment of the money, give periodic updates regarding the status of the funds, and coordinate the outreach for the endowment dollars. Please consider both endowment funds in your charitable donations and in your will.
This fund helps support missions, ministries, vocations, priests and deacons, Catholic education as well as services throughout the Dioceses of La Crosse. Each September this fundraising takes place throughout the diocese. Volunteers are needed to help with the mailings and phone calls.
