Adults Ages 21-40

The Young Adult Ministry of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church seeks to connect young adults, ages 21-40, with meaningful activities that are social, faith-oriented, and which serve others in the parish and community. Young Adults of any situation are welcome – those who are single, married, divorced, separated, or widowed, those that have children and those that do not. Come and explore your faith, meet other young adults from our parish, and have fun with the Young Adult Ministry Participants (YAMPS).

Resources for all Adults

RENEW:Why Catholic?

Resources for adult faith formation are abundant here at St. Joseph's.  The primary vehicle for adult faith formation is the RENEW Why Catholic? program beginning here this fall.  All adults in the parish are strongly encouraged to participate in this process.

Parish Library

Did you know that our parish has a resource library with hundreds of books ranging from such topics as spirituality, prayer, lives of the saints, church history, contemporary issues and more?  The parish library is now located in the Holy Family room (follow the ramp down from The Gathering Place and go left down the hall past the bathroom) and is open for browsing and checking out books any time.

Mach1 Bible Study for Mothers

MACH1: Mothers and Children, is a Bible study geared specifically toward mothers and their children.  It was first developed by St. Joseph parishioners and received an imprimatur from Bishop Balke.  The study meets weekly during the academic year, with each two-hour session divided into two parts.  The first hour is devoted to discussion of Catholic and Christian books and other resources.  The second hour is devoted to Bible study with a leader who offers insight into Catholic theology, tradition, and their relation to Scripture.  For more information, contact the parish office.

RCIA

RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.  It is the process whereby non-Christian adults are baptized into the Catholic faith and baptized Christians are received into full communion with the Catholic Church.  To find out more, visit our
RCIA page.
