The Knights

Thank you for visiting our council's Events and Happenings for 2008!  The information below will be updated about once per month.  Please check this information often to keep up to date with the council's events. 

MOVIE NIGHTS!

WHAT: FREE family friendly movies.  A mix of inspirational Christian and fun movies on the BIG SCREEN.

WHEN: See schedule below.  All movies start after the Saturday evening mass at St. John Bosco Catholic Church.

WHERE: St. John Bosco Parish Hall.  23830 Front Avenue, Mattawan, MI 49071

WHAT TO BRING:  Everyone is welcome.  The hall has standard metal folding chairs.  Bring along your favorite folding (camping) chair, seat cushion, or whatever would make your viewing more comfortable.  Kids usually sit as a group on the floor in the front on pillows, sleeping bags, bean chairs, or whatever they want to bring along.

FOOD: Concessions are sold during the show.  Pop, water, theater popcorn, candy, pizza, and cookies are typically available.

His bishop's last words were that "he must not touch anyone."  Little by little, Damien earned the trust of the lepers, and eventually, his appeals for nuns and supplies resonated throughout the world, much to the displeasure of his superiors.  Even when Damien got sick himself, his energy did not abate, and he carried on working for the well-being of his "fellow lepers" to the end.
