St. John Vianney Church at 54045 Schoenherr Rd., Shelby Township, MI 48315 US - Ladies Auxiliary

The Ladies Auxiliary is a sister organization to the Knights of Columbus and is open to any woman in the parish.  You do not have to be a wife of a K of C member to join.  Attend a meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. 

Purpose

Their purpose is to promote fellowship among the members, to support the K of C, and to promote Christian and family values. Past projects include

• "Blankets of Love" for Children's Hospital
• Hats, scarves, mittens and socks for low-income children in the Macomb Intermediate School District
• Felician Mother House Postulant
• Selfridge Community Service Advocacy Program
• Sweatshirts for the Holy Cross Children's Services
• MCREST
• Poinsettias for the altar at Christmas
• Parishioners in need
• SJV Puppet Ministry

Funds have been raised in support projects through Mother's Day Flower Sale and jewelry sales.

The group prays together at Advent by Candlelight and Lenten Retreat.

There's also time for fun

• Salad Potluck
• Ladies Night Out at the Gem Theatre
• Monthly meetings featuring guest speakers and 50/50 raffles
