Our History in Pictures

Parishioners first met at Shelby Jr. High School to celebrate Mass on Sundays.
After the arrival of Fr. Jerry Machlik, Sunday liturgy was moved to Crissman Elementary School located on Wolf Dr.
The Archdiocese purchased 12 acres of land on Schoenherr Rd. for the location of the newly formed parish.
The first rectory was completed in the fall of 1980.  Schoenherr was a dirt road at the time.
With steady growth of the parish, ground was broken for the first church.
The first church was completed in the fall of 1984.
Rapid growth led to the need for a larger parish complex which was completed in the fall of 1996.
Fr. Jerry welcomed Cardinal Adam Maida to the dedication of the new facilities on November 23, 1996.
