The St. John Vianney Mom's Club was formed in March of 2003.
Their purpose is
- To promote the development of fellowship among mothers in the community.
- To serve the parish by volunteering to assist with various parish functions.
- To serve the community by volunteering time to raise money or physically assist members of the community.
- To learn more about faith, to develop spiritually and to grow as mothers.
The club is enriching, informative and motivating. Past activities include:
Charity Events - Sierra's Bears, Bake Sale, Scrapbook Fundraiser, Baby Shower for Crossroads Pregnancy Center.
Mom's Outings - wine tasting, couples Christmas Party, movie night, bowling
Kid's Outings - Morley Candy Factory Tour, Young Chef's Academy, Christmas at Canterbury Village, Pump It Up
Service Program - Truck or Treat
A typical meeting begins with club business followed by an enriching presentation. Examples of past presentations include self-defense techniques, photography tips, knitting tips, recipe exchange.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month in the parish meeting rooms. All are welcome.
