Jesus in the "Burning Bush" at Youth 2000

The youth attended a youth rally in Lubbock, Texas, on July 14-16, 2000. The focus of the rally/retreat was Eucharistic Adoration, in honor of the Jubilee Year focus. Fifteen teens ages 13 and up attended the retreat. It was a weekend full of singing, prayer, and constant contact with Jesus Christ. I would like to say Thank You to my brother and his wife, Clifton and Theresa McGee, our host family while in Lubbock, who made sure we had plenty to eat and a pleasant place to sleep. I would also like to thank the two adults who went with me to the retreat as drivers and chaperones, Elivia Erives and Norma Garza. They donated their time, money and vehicles so that the youth might have an AWESOME experience with Jesus. Without you, we couldn't have gone. Thank you for all your help and dedication. I would also like to thank the youth that attended the event for having an open heart and mind so that you were able to experience Jesus more fully. Thanks for making our youth group what it is...very special.
