Lectors proclaim the Word of God to the assembly at Mass and other liturgies.
• This ministry is open to members of the parish who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion and who have a talent for public speaking.
• All Lectors receive training in preparation, diction and use of the microphone.
• Lectors use the assistance of a Lector Workbook which provides information and historical background on the Scripture readings for the various liturgies during the Church year.
