Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J McGivney. Father McGivney's dream was to have a council in every parish and every Catholic man a member of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus continue to support parish priests and take care of the widows and orphans. The pillars of the Knights of Columbus are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Queen City Council #575 offers service to others programs for Church, Family, Community, Youth and Council.
