St. Joseph School at 2238 Manhattan Street, Erie, MI 48133 US - Closings & Delays

SCHOOL: The Archdiocese, the Pastor and the Principal have the right to declare a cancellation/delay of classes when deemed necessary. The school will follow the Mason Consolidated Public School District in circumstances of emergency.

In case of bad weather, stay tuned to WJR 760 AM, WTWR 98.3 FM or the Toledo, Ohio, television and radio stations.

St. Joseph School is included when you see/hear Mason Consolidated Public School decisions.  Likewise, be cautious about dropping off an unattended student if you do not see staff vehicles parked in the lot along the school. Advance closings will be made only when we have sure knowledge that the emergency cannot be adequately corrected for the following day to ensure safety and the majority attendance of children in school.

BUS SERVICE: If the Mason Consolidated buses are delayed, school will not begin until the hour announced for delay. A two hour delay will delay the beginning of school until 9:55 AM. Those students who walk or come by car should arrive at that time, as no supervision will be available and the building remains locked.

In cases of severe weather / emergency buses may pick up for an unscheduled early dismissal. In this case, parents will be individually notified if students will be arriving home more than 20 minutes early.

In the event of school cancellation, all extracurricular activities, whether for parents or students, which were scheduled for that day are also cancelled.
