Tuition Assistance Programs
The SCRIP tuition rebate program is available to all families:
The amount of rebate a family can receive depends on the amount of SCRIP gift cards they purchase during the previous school year. Other people (relatives, co-workers, friends, etc.) can purchase SCRIP gift cards in the name of a student or family as an additional way for the family to increase the amount of their tuition rebate.
After a family has accumulated $100 in profits for the school from SCRIP purchases, the family will receive a tuition rebate for 50% of their remaining earned profits for purchases made through April 30.
These tuition assistance scholarships and grants are available to qualifying families:
Archdiocese of Detroit Endowment Foundation
As a result, of the Stewards for Tomorrow Campaign and the establishment of an Archdiocesan Endowment, the Archdiocese of Detroit extends tuition assistance grants to qualifying Catholic families with children in grades 1-12 attending Catholic Schools. Kremer Foundation Grant
The George and Mary Kremer Foundation is firmly committed to Catholic education, and is very proud to be your partner in allowing those in financial need to have the opportunity to share in the many blessings a Catholic education can bring. Tuition assistance awards will be made annually to schools in consideration of available funds from the Kremer Foundation Trust for children in financial need in Kindergarten through Grade 8.
LaVoy Scholarship Trust Fund
The Curtis and Irene LaVoy Scholarship Trust Fund is a new Fund that has been set up to help families pay for tuition at
MSM Scholarship
The MSM Scholarship Fund is endowed by Madonna Mieczkowski and is awarded to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The scholarship is renewable upon application and at the discretion of the Advisory Committee. You must be a member of St. Joseph Parish for at least one year or have attended St. Joseph Elementary School for one year and scholarship recipients shall be based on economic need, academic achievement, and Catholic citizenship.
Russell Scholarship Trust Fund
This is for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Parents must fill out the application and meet all the requirements. Amounts vary according to needs and monies available.
SMART Tuition
The SMART tuition payment program is available for families to choose from several convenient payment plan options. This program allows you to make payments on your tuition in a variety of ways with a schedule that best suits your family.
