St. Joseph Catholic School did amazing things for me. Not only was I confident in going to high school, but I was put into all honors classes because Saint Joseph’s had pushed me far beyond where I thought I could go. Saint Joseph’s taught me to do my best and to keep working as hard as you can in order to get where you want to be in life. It instilled Catholic morals that I still use and have grown up on. Every class taught you something about Catholicism. I even remember the parish priest come to our math class and explained why God was in everything, including numbers. Saint Joseph’s put a positive spin on my life. Everything that Saint Joseph’s taught me has had a direct effect on my life and future.
Our alumni were asked,
“How did our academic programs prepare you for high school and beyond? How did St. Joseph Catholic School help to form your values and Catholic faith?”
Mary, class of 2008
I feel that I was well prepared for the academic expectations of high school. The transition to high school was easy for me. In addition, I have learned a great deal about the Catholic faith and I feel that I have a solid foundation of values that I will carry with me into my future. I am grateful for my Catholic School education.

A few of my fondest memories from attending St. Joseph’s ( I graduated in 1989) are when we would go over and have student Mass. Sometimes we would put together a human rosary around the inside of the church. It looked so pretty and made me feel special and a little closer to God. I also loved the holiday programs that we had. Being such a small school, the attention that we received from the teachers and staff during these times was amazing. I know I didn't always appreciate it then, too young I guess, but looking back I know that it was truly a special time that not all kids get to experience. I never felt like I was a burden on anyone there or that my needs were never as important as those around me. I truly felt and learned to "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." I also learned to make those around me feel the way I did. I often think that so many of the values that I have today were based on the teaching and love that I received while being a student at St. Joseph Catholic School. It is a wonderful school and a more amazing family to be a part of. There will ALWAYS be a very special place in my heart for my school and the teachers that God gave me there.
Tiffany, class of 1989
I believe that St. Joseph Catholic School has prepared me both academically and spiritually for my life in high school. Academically, I feel that St. Joseph has prepared me for the classes I am taking now in a Catholic high school by giving me a good foundation in all subject areas. Spiritually, I have learned a lot about our faith, and continue to learn now. I feel that St. Joseph helped my faith grow by teaching me and my classmates how to grow in God's love by service to others.
Nick, class of 2006
Saint Joseph School played an integral part in shaping me into the person that I have become. I learned that if I work hard I can achieve beyond my own expectations, which is something that I try to impart on my students at Saint Joes. I also received an excellent education that prepared me to go to a high school and college with very high academic standards. I chose to come back and teach at St. Joseph School because I believe in this school.
Janelle, class of 1997
St. Joseph Catholic School has helped me academically during my high school career because it has prepared me for the courses that I am currently taking. The educational courses at a high school level are a lot simpler after attending grade school at St. Joseph. I feel that the religious classes in high school are easier to understand because of being prepared spiritually at St. Joseph. The importance of good morals and values were shown to me, and I try to carry them out in everyday life.
