The old 1975 chain petition to block Madeline Murray O'Hare's petition #2493 to the FCC to block religious programming on TV has resurfaced again. This time is has been retyped by someone and updated to mention "Touched by An Angel" and is also being e-mailed to people. Please disregard this petition to block petition #2493 since it regards a petition that was denied on 1 August 1975 by the FCC. For more information, see www.fcc.gov/mmb/enf/forms/1975--08.html In addition, Ms. O'Hare has not been heard from for many years since she has disappeared. In short, this petition is so old and has no basis any longer. Again, if you receive a request to sign Petition #2493 please disregard this and save the FCC from receiving useless requests for a petition they denied in 1975! Thank you.
