Queridos feligreses,
Quiero sinceramente agradecerles a todos ustedes por todo el apoyo espiritual y material a nuestra parroquia de San José. Hoy se cumplen 6 meses que estoy aquí con ustedes. Yo estoy muy contento de poder servir a Dios y a ustedes en esta parroquia. Admiro su dedicación espiritual y su participación en la iglesia al igual que su servicio y sacrificio. En los últimos meses hemos podido hacerle varios cambios a nuestro templo. Hemos instalado un nuevo sistema de video y un nuevo sistema de seguridad en la iglesia. Hemos puesto alfombra nueva e instalamos una iluminación nueva en la fachada de la iglesia. Con el tiempo pondremos lámparas nuevas en el frente de la iglesia. Han aumentado el número de feligreses nuevos que desean rezar con nosotros y apoyar nuestra parroquia. Quiero darles las gracias a todos los que entran y a todos los que están. Muchas gracias a nuestros grupos apostólicos por su presencia, por su espiritualidad, su apoyo y su servicio a Dios. Que Dios los bendiga. ¿Qué nos espera en el año 2012? El Papa Benedicto XVI anunció que este es el Año de la Fe. Por eso vamos a trabajar por la formación espiritual y aprender lo que significa ser católico. Los grupos de nuestra comunidad tendrán varias reflexiones sobre la fe católica. Si Dios lo permite, estamos planeando pintar la iglesia con la ayuda de nuestros Caballeros de Colón y construir la capilla parroquial de la Divina Misericordia de Dios.
Hoy me gustaría invitar a cada uno de ustedes a mi instalación como párroco el 21 de enero a la 5:30 pm. La Santa Misa será presidida por el Obispo Robert Lynch con varios sacerdotes invitados. También deseo compartir con ustedes que el jueves, 5 de enero, vendrán de Polonia mi hermana María y Henry, mi hermano mayor, para participar con nosotros en esta ceremonia.
Por último, me despido de ustedes con estas palabras de la primera lectura de la misa
de hoy. En este Nuevo Año les deseo a todos y cada uno de ustedes que: “El Señor te bendiga y te proteja, haga resplandecer su rostro sobre ti y te conceda su favor. Que el Señor te mire con benevolencia y te conceda la paz”.

Dear parishioners,
Sincerely, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your spiritual and material support to Saint Joseph Parish. Today marks 6 months since I have been here with you. I am very happy to be able to serve God and you in this parish. I admire your spiritual dedication and participation in the church as well as your service and sacrifice. In the last few months, we have been able to make several changes in the temple. We have installed a new video system and a new security system in the church. We installed a new carpet and new lighting in the front of the church. In the future we are planning to install new lamps in front of the church. We have seen an increase in the number of new parishioners who wish to pray with us and help our parish. I would like to thank everyone who comes in and those who are with us. I would like to thank our apostolic groups for their presence, spirituality, support and service to God. God bless you all.
What can we expect for the year 2012? Pope Benedict XVI declared 2012 the Year of Faith. This is why we will be working on spiritual formation and what it means to be a Catholic. The groups of our community will have several reflections about the Catholic faith. God permitting, we are planning to paint the church with the help of the Knights of Columbus and build a parochial chapel to the Divine Mercy of God.
Today, I would like to invite each of you to my installation as your pastor on January 21 at 5:30 pm The Holy Mass will be presided over by Bishop Robert Lynch and several invited priests. I would also like to share with you that on Thursday, January 5, my sister María and my oldest brother Henry, will be coming from Poland to be present for the ceremony.
To close, I will use the words of today’s first reading. For 2012, I wish to each one of you: The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!
