The Connecticut Catholic Advocacy Network The Social Action Committee of St Joseph Parish is a member of the Connecticut Catholic Advocacy Network of the Archdiocese of Hartford. The network helps Catholics to act on our faith through participation in public-policy making based on the Gospel and the Social Teaching of the Church. Our voices together can make a difference on State and Federal issues affecting low income and vulnerable people. As members of the Connecticut Catholic Advocacy Network we respond to Action Alerts issued by the Connecticut Catholic Advocacy Network on issues that need immediate action. Please look at the dated Action Alerts, and write a letter, send an e-mail, make a telephone call, to the legislators identified in the Action Alert, and ask them to act in support of the issue at hand.
